Vaccinations campaigns

  • Spring Vaccinations

    From April 2026, the spring Covid-19 vaccine will be available for free on the NHS to those at increased risk from severe illness, including those aged 75 or over, people with a weakened immune system, or who live in an older adult care home.

  • RSV vaccinations for older adults

    From April 2026, the respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccine will be available for free on the NHS to all adults who are aged 75 or over and adults who are living in a care home for older adults

  • Introduction of MMRV vaccine & the new 18-month appointment

    The NHS is introducing MMRV vaccination into the routine childhood vaccination schedule from 1 January 2026 to replace MMR vaccination. This campaign provides information and materials to support the implementation of the MMRV vaccine.

  • Stay Strong Get Vaccinated Maternity Campaign

    This campaign, produced by the Department of Health and Social Care, provides information on the maternal vaccination programme to support stakeholders to explain and promote the maternal vaccination programme to pregnant women. The campaign specifically targets pregnant women with messaging about flu, RSV and whooping cough vaccines.

  • Childhood Vaccinations

    A campaign to encourage uptake of routine childhood vaccinations for children aged 0–5, empowering parents and guardians to give their child the best possible protection against vaccine‑preventable diseases. It also encourages families whose children may have missed any vaccinations to contact their GP practice to check which ones they can catch up on and make sure their children have the best possible protection.

  • Measles, Mumps and Rubella (MMR)

    Encouraging parents to get their children vaccinated against measles, mumps and rubella.

  • Winter vaccinations

    Free NHS vaccines are the best way to protect yourself and your family this winter. These campaign resources explain eligibility and how to get winter vaccines.

  • Maternal vaccinations (RSV, pertussis and flu)

    This campaign, produced jointly by UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) and NHS England, provides information on the maternal vaccination programme to support stakeholders to explain and promote the maternal vaccination programme to pregnant women.

  • HPV Vaccination

    The 2025-26 GP led catch up campaign has been chosen to focus on the HPV vaccination programme for those who missed it in years 8 and 9 at school.

    The cohort targeted by the catch-up campaign is those aged 16 years and over who had previously been offered the vaccine at school, missed it and remain eligible.

  • Childhood Immunisations

    The aim of this campaign is to support efforts increase uptake of routine childhood immunisations among children aged 0-5 years, and encourage parents / guardians of children who have missed any of their vaccinations to take up the offer to give them the best protection against vaccine preventable diseases.

    Resources include: stakeholder toolkit with background information, statistics, key messages, as well as creative assets for both digital and print formats.
