Our Healthy Year: Parent presentation for school nursing teams

A PowerPoint presentation for school nursing teams to use with parents after measuring day, as part of the National Child Measurement Programme (NCMP).

School nursing teams may wish to use this PowerPoint presentation with parents after measurement  has taken place and feedback letters have been sent out. The presentation explains why children are weighed and measured, how this can be a positive opportunity, and how they and their families can eat well and move more.

Our Healthy Year is a set of resources to help build healthy behaviours in pupils during the school years in which they are weighed and measured as part of the NCMP.

Other Our Healthy Year resources for school nurses delivering the NCMP include an information leaflet, presentations for reception, year 6, a year 6 leaflet and a healthy diary template.
