Try your best PowerPoint and video

This lesson starter inspires pupils to warm up with a 1-minute video clip featuring the England Lionesses and performers from the hit West End musical The Lion King, and to reflect on what it means to try their best.

It can be used to encourage a positive mindset at the start of any lesson, as a PE warm-up or to help establish high expectations with a new class.

The download contains two formats of PowerPoint file, for newer and older versions of Windows. If the embedded video does not play in one version, try the other.
